Implement exactly one narrow Ready slice: GP-ASSET-007 - Asset Registry metadata import/export retention. Do not implement GP-ASSET-008 or GP-ASSET-009. Do not redesign metadata, add tables, build UI/API, or change Property/Location, ownership, or ServiceVault behavior.

Startup gates: allocate a fresh unique CMD-* source-run ID (never reuse CMD-20260829-002); use the permanent PowerShell Execution Standard and Two-Strikes Rule; verify synchronized origin/main at b9712a0bd46a3c970fd7a31332f460d560f8e227; isolate unrelated dirty-tree changes; MINION-10 remains documentation-only. MINION-04 is historical/retireable; use Minions On Demand only if delegation is required.

Known defect: AssetRegistryService::exportRun() omits description, notes, manufacturer_id, model_id. AssetRegistryService::importRun() omits description, manufacturer_id, model_id. Re-verify serial_number. Audit AssetImportExportService.php and preserve the existing manufacturer/model representation and backward-compatible imports.

Acceptance: create an asset with description, notes, manufacturer, model, serial; read; update all values; read back; export using canonical CSV and assert representation; import into a clean context and assert retention; verify tenant/company isolation, duplicate/identifier rules, and invalid-reference behavior.

Validation: run the five existing Asset Registry/ServiceVault smoke tests plus a focused metadata acceptance test, composer run ci, git diff --check, and PRAGMA integrity_check. If a focused test artifact is committed, commit/push it, integrate only this slice, verify origin/main, update coordinator evidence, and stop. Do not broaden scope.
